
The Festival is held each October on Stoddard Street and will feature more than 50 booths of crafts, food, and exhibits to officially welcome fall to Dexter.
Some of the featured events are:
* Annual Pie Eating Contest sponsored by Young Real Estate LLC at NOON in front of the Bunny Patch.
* Evans Pottery display at the old Dexter railroad depot which is now the official Welcome Center. It begins at 9 a.m.
* Fall Festival Pageants has been moved to the Dexter High School auditorium beginning at 1:00 p.m. The pageants will include contests from birth to 21 years of age. Deadline has been extended to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 9th. Forms are available at the Bunny Patch.
* Pumpkin crafts for children
* Live music at Stoddard and Locust Streets will include Bluegrass Review at 9:30 a.m., Louisiana Fog at 11:30 a.m. and Deja Vu at 1:30 p.m.
* Quilt Exhibit at the Nutrition Center located on Stoddard Street. They also have a quilt raffle of a beautiful hand-crafted quilt.

Dexter, Missouri - The Rotary Club in Dexter is asking for donations of non-perishable foods. They will host a Food Drive at Harps in downtown Dexter on Saturday, October 10th from 9:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.
All donations will got o the Stoddard County Gospel Mission. According to Kim Slavings, Director of the Mission, "We are in need of non-perishable foods such as peanut butter, spaghetti, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, rice beans, boxed drinks, soups, crackers, boxed cornbread, Ramen, mac&cheese, and canned tuna."
All donations will go to the Stoddard County Gospel Mission to help those in need in Stoddard County.
The Rotary Club holds several community dinners, works a food booth at the Stoddard County Fair, hosts numerous blood drives, and an annual 4 Person Golf Scramble in the summer to raise money for many local groups. Their motto is Service Above Self and they work hard all year long to give to many area people who are less fortunate.

The Dexter Rotary Club also sponsors a student led group, Interact, and any Stoddard County high school student is eligible to join. They meet once per month on the first Sunday.
