Dexter, Missouri – Each year the Dexter Elks Lodge travels Stoddard County and delivers dictionaries to 3^rd grade students. Last week they stopped Central Elementary in Dexter.

This is the 5^th year they have endeavored to give each and every student their own dictionary.  Mary French of Charleston, South Carolina founded the Dictionary Project in 1995.  The Dexter elks have distributed over 2,000 dictionaries and worldwide well over one million dictionaries have been given to 3^rd graders by Elks Members.
