In Memory of John Nash

John Nash, son of John Henry Nash and Edna Francis White Nash, was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on January 16, 1935, and departed this life at his residence in Marshfield, Missouri on November 23, 2022, at the age of 87.

Mr. Nash had worked as an auto body repairman. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Marshfield, and he was proud of his Cherokee heritage.

He was united in marriage to Norma Treadway in Dexter, Missouri on June 29, 1963. Mrs. Nash survives of their home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ronnie Oliver of Saline, Oklahoma and John Nash of Marshfield, Missouri; by three daughters, Shelia Stinson and husband Doug of Puxico, Missouri, Karen White and husband Bob of Greenville, Missouri and Lisa Eirvin and husband Chris of Sun Rise Beach, Missouri; by his brother, Bill Nash of Dexter, Missouri; and by eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Other than by his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Jared Bowling; and by six siblings.

Friends may call at the Mathis Funeral Home of Dexter on Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Herman Morse officiating. Interment will follow in the Armstead Dowdy Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Oliver, Luke Oliver, Charlie Vaughn, Damon Talley, Keith Reaves, and Ryan McClain.

Mathis Funeral home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
