Robert Dyle, son of the late Harry Dyle and Edythe Linthicum Dyle, was born on June 6, 1948, in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on May 17, 2022, at his residence in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 73 years.
Mr. Dyle was a Veteran of the United States Army, and he was a truck driver for 22 years. He enjoyed shooting pool and he loved woodworking and going to the casino.
On February 14, 2007, in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Pamela Dyle. Mrs. Dyle preceded him in death on February 24, 2022.
He is survived by two sons, Ben Dyle and wife Rosetta of Dudley, Missouri, and Thomas Dyle and wife April of Dexter, Missouri; by his daughter, Becky Hovis of New Orleans, Louisiana; by his brother, Jim Dyle of Covington, Georgia; and by three grandchildren, Ethan Dyle and Alex Dyle both of Dexter, Missouri, and Benjamin Dyle II of Dudley, Missouri.
Other than by his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin Dyle and Harry Dyle, and by his sister, Joyce Irvin.
Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jim Dyle officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
