T.S. Hill Middle School 6th Grade School Supplies List

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Public Schools will have their first day of classes on Thursday, August 10, 2017 until noon.  Their first full day will be Friday, August 11th.

Registration will be held at the Bearcat Event Center on Monday, July 31st from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

GENERAL SUPPLIES FOR ALL GRADES at T.S. Hill Middle School

GENERAL SUPPLIES FOR ALL GRADES

1   Three ring binder that zips, or has Velcro

1   Tub of Clorox Wipes

1   Large box of Kleenex tissues (for 1st Hour)   

2   Blue or black ink pens & 2 Red ink pens 

2   Packs of loose-leaf notebook paper (more  

     will be needed later)

1   Box of at least ten #2 pencils

2   Highlighters

Physical Education 

Gym shorts or sweatpants ᾢ No spandex, shorts 3" inseam

T-shirt or sweatshirt  

Tennis shoes 

Master lock provided by the school for gym class 

6TH  GRADE SUPPLIES

Math 

1   70 page spiral notebook for notes only

2   packages of loose leaf paper for homework                     

     (1 per semester)

1   TI-30 XS Multiview Calculator for all grade level @ MS

English

2   70-page spiral wide rule notebook

Intermediate level or online dictionary (home use)

1   folder with prongs

Reading

1   70-page Composition notebook  

1   12 pack colored pencils                                            

Science

1    70 page spiral notebook

Social Studies

1   pack of colored pencils

1   handheld pencil sharpener 

1   pack of index cards

1   zipper pouch for colored pencil storage

Art

1   Extra Fine Point Sharpie, black

1   Fine Point Sharpie, black

1   Spiral notebook

     Pencils/ Eraser


Parents and/or guardians are asked to update the information prior to attending Registration Day.  Included are transportation information (bus information sheet), lunch applications, photo packet information, and medical information that will be kept confidential.

Are there new BEARCATS out there? Please bring proof of residency, birth certificates, and immunization records.  If you do not have these items available please stop in and speak with the staff to get the enrollment process started.

Student photos will also be taken on Registration Day; however you do not have to purchase portrait packages on that day.  Don't worry if your photo isn't perfect a picture re-take day will be later in the school year.
