Hazel Robinson, daughter of the late Jesse Colbert Hamby and Geneva Fitzpatrick Hamby was born on May 21, 1934 in Stoddard County Missouri and departed this life on January 2, 2017 at the Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau at the age of 82.
Mrs. Robinson was a Nurses Aid for the Dexter Convalescent Home, the Vintage Villa Nursing Home, a home-maker for VNA and a cook for the Dexter Senior High School. She was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
She was united in marriage to James E. Robinson on November 21, 1951 in Fisk, Missouri. Mr. Robinson resides of the home in Dexter.
Survivors include; four sons, Rick Robinson of Indianapolis, Indiana, David Robinson of Dexter, Missouri, Terry Robinson of Wappapello, Missouri, and Daniel Robinson of Broseley, Missouri; and by one daughter, Jamie Hutchison of Dexter, Missouri.
Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Marla Kaye Robinson; four brothers, John Payton Hamby, Jesse Eugene Hamby, Thurman Glendon Hamby and Jake Freeman Hamby; by two sisters, Vevlean Belle Clary, and Dephna Parthinia Worley.
Friends may call at the Rainey Mathis Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Services will be conducted on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will follow at the South Pleasant Valley Cemetery(Triplett) near Dexter, Missouri.
