Margaret Ann McQuay, daughter of the late Charles Louis Martin and Marie Puckett Martin, was born on July 3, 1935 in Kewanee, Missouri and departed this life on January 7, 2016 at Cypress Point Skilled Nursing in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 80.

Mrs. McQuay was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.  She was a member of the Kewanee Methodist Church in Kewanee, Missouri and a member of the Eastern Star.

On August 8, 1972, she was united in marriage to Don McQuay in Kewanee, Missouri. Mr. McQuay preceded her in death on June 16, 2008.

She is survived by one son, Martin Ward of Bloomfield, Missouri; by two grandchildren, Christina M. Ward of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Jamie Holcomb of Bloomfield, Missouri; and by seven great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Louis Martin, Jr.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. 

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Alice Fowler officiating.  

Interment will follow in Sikeston Memorial Park in Sikeston, Missouri.
