With Christmas just right around the corner, many elementary classrooms have started holiday activities to help show their excitement for Christmas break!

The students in Mrs. Putnam’s first grade class showed their enthusiasm for the holidays as they spent yesterday doing fun filled gingerbread activities.

“The Gingerbread Girl Goes Animal Crackers” inspired the activities.

In the photo, the class is shown after their gingerbread activities. Juan Lara is in the middle holding the book, “The Gingerbread Girl,” with Emma Dorton to the left of him modeling a very well decorated gingerbread girl.

The students had a fun filled day yesterday, and we’re sure they’re excited about Christmas break beginning Friday!
