... SOUTH OF A LINE FROM POPLAR BLUFF MISSOURI, TO CAPE GIRARDEAU MISSOURI, TO MADISONVILLE KENTUCKY, HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL BE FROM 100 TO 105 DEGREES BEFORE STORMS DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON.
THESE CONDITIONS WILL INCREASE THE LIKELIHOOD OF HEAT RELATED ILLNESS IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN WHEN WORKING OR PARTICIPATING IN ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE.
