    • ... WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST SATURDAY...
    • THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PADUCAH HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR SOUTHEAST MISSOURI... SOUTHERN ILLINOIS... SOUTHWEST INDIANA AND WEST KENTUCKY... WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST SATURDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
    • * TIMING: LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
    • * AMOUNTS: SNOW AND SLEET ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES ACROSS SOUTHWEST INDIANA TO A HALF AN INCH OR LESS ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI. ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL RANGE FROM AROUND A QUARTER INCH OVER MUCH OF SOUTHEAST MISSOURI TO A TENTH OF AN INCH OVER SOUTHWEST INDIANA. AREAS THAT EXPERIENCE A THUNDERSTORM COULD SEE ISOLATED HIGHER AMOUNTS OF ICE... SLEET OR SNOW.
    • * IMPACTS: TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL DETERIORATE QUICKLY AS THE PRECIPITATION BEGINS. AREAS THAT GET ENHANCED ICING DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS COULD EXPERIENCE A FEW ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. CONDITIONS SHOULD IMPROVE AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH EARLY SATURDAY.
    • PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
