In Memory of Donna Kay Haynes

Donna Kay Haynes, daughter of the late James Clark and Anna Mae Florence Clark, was born on November 27, 1951, in Bellmont, Illinois, and departed this life on April 9, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Stoddard in Dexter, Missouri, at the age of 72 years.


Mrs. Haynes was a former housekeeper at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter. She enjoyed watching TV game shows, and cooking, and she loved keeping her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


On May 9, 1981, in Essex, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Randy Haynes. Mr. Haynes survives of their home in Dexter.


Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Billy Arthur of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; by two daughters, Tracy Graves (Chris) of Dexter, Missouri, and Amy Arthur (Dustin Sullivan) of Dexter, Missouri; by four grandchildren, Brittany Hargrave (Kyle), Haylee Arthur, Hannah Arthur, and Christopher Graves; and by six great-grandchildren, Braxton Graves, Colton Kilburn, Easton Graves, Jaxson Arthur, Avah Roberts, and Lily Arthur.


Other than by her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Donald Clark, Larry Clark, Gary Clark, and Roger Clark.


Visitation will be held at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will then be conducted in the Mathis Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, April 12, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Pennington officiating. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.


Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is assisting with arrangements.
