In Loving Memory of Norman Condict

Norman Condict, son of the late Clifford Norman Condict and Velda Mae McGowan Condict, was born in Bernie, Missouri on November 15, 1950 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on October 27, 2016 at the age of 65.

Mr. Condict was a Veteran of the United States Navy, later he worked for Matrix Tank Company of Michigan until his retirement. He was a member of Church of Christ.

He was united in marriage to Gearldine Nordin in Bernie, Missouri on September 3, 1988. Mrs. Condict survives in the home in Bernie.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert Norman Condict of Dexter, Missouri and Scott Michael Crain of Norfolk, Virginia; by two daughters, Teresa Ann Vavak of Kennett, Missouri and Kellie Jo Martin of Sikeston, Missouri; by two brothers, Clifford Condict, Jr. and Barry Wayne Condict both of Bernie, Missouri; by three sisters, Judy Carolyn Arnold of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Lela Ann Smith and Susan Lee Reif both of Bernie, Missouri; by eleven grandchildren, Emilie Nicole Martin, Kelsie Leigh Ann Martin, Rachel Nicole Crain, Sarah Elizabeth Martin, Jon Michael Crain, Taylor Ryan Condict, Kylie Jo Vavak, Margaret Kennedee Crain, Reese Ryan Condict, Sophia Marie Crain and Mia Rose Crain; by one great-granddaughter, Virginia Rose Martin; also by other relatives and many friends.

Friends may call on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Kyle Carter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri, with full Military Honors.  

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home of Bernie in charge of all arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Mary Ellen Massingill

Mary Ellen Massingill of Dexter, daughter of the late Giles Vick and Ethel Bond Ellis, was born in Holiday, Tennessee on October 15, 1936, and passed away at the Cypress Point Healthcare Center in Dexter, Missouri on October 25, 2016, at the age of 80 years and 10 days.

She had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of her life. She was a home maker and enjoyed working in her yard and garden.

On September 17, 1990 she was married to Robert Lee Massingill in Dexter. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2014.

Surviving are two daughters, Sherry Cowgur of Joplin, Missouri, Rhonda Lewis -Gromer of Dexter, Missouri; two grandsons, Derek Cowgur of Joplin, Missouri and Jake Gromer of Dexter, Missouri; two step-daughters, Pamela Hodges of Farmington, Arkansas, Pat Kohler of Denver, Colorado; three step-sons, Chad Massingill of Dexter, Wayne Massingill of Searcy, Arkansas and Mike Richards of Denver, Colorado. Other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Jo Toutchque, six brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri with Graveside services to follow at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter with Rev. Bill Pennington of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Sikeston Area Humane Society, 1900 Compress Rd., Sikeston, MO  63801, or Southeast Hospice, #10 Doctor's Park, Cape Girardeau, MO  63703.

Paisley Rose Wyatt, daughter of Martin and Rashena Parker Wyatt, was born at the Children's Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri on October 20, 2016, and passed away at the hospital on October 22, 2016, at the age of 2 days.

Surviving are her parents, Martin & Rashena Wyatt of Bloomfield; her maternal grandparents, Kevin & Sharon Pullum of Bloomfield, Henry & Rhonda Wyatt of Bloomfield; six aunts and spouses, Cristy & Jeff Dixon of Aid, Terri Wyatt of Bloomfield, Dolly & John Hedrick of Kenova, West Virginia, Patricia & Art Ayers of Bloomfield, Rachel Garrett of Dexter, Rissie & Ron Dugger of Broseley; and one uncle, Raymond Parker of Bloomfield. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Friends may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, at 11:00 am at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Tippen of Bloomfeild officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Missouri in charge of all arrangements.

In Loving Memory of David Herbert Berry

David Herbert Berry, son of the late B. C. Berry and Alice Davis Berry was born on November 25, 1928 in Grayridge, Missouri and departed this life on October 23, 2016 at his residence in Essex, Missouri on October 23, 2016 at the age of 87.

Mr. Berry was a farmer and mechanic at Case IH in Sikeston, Missouri.  He was a member of the Essex Church of Christ in Essex, Missouri.

On June 4, 1954, he was united in marriage to Gladys Robinson in Benton, Missouri.  Mrs. Berry survives of the home in Essex.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his son; David H. Berry Jr of Kennesaw, Georgia; by one brother, Leslie Earl Berry of Dexter, Missouri.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. 

A graveside service will then be conducted on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hagy Cemetery with Herman Morse officiating.

In Loving Memory of Larry M. Sizemore

Larry M. Sizemore of Dexter, son of the late Lemuel and Lorraine Goff Sizemore, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on May 23, 1949, and passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on October 18, 2016, at the age of 67 years, 4 months and 25 days.

Larry had moved from St. Louis to Dexter thirty years ago. He had been a self employed carpenter and painter. He enjoyed drawing and art, music, swimming and was a train enthusiast.

He was engaged to Maggie Barks and was to be married on October 22.

Surviving are his fiance', Maggie Barks of Dexter; three daughters, Cheryl Marlow of Puxico, Missouri, Laura Hicks of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Karen Robertson of East Alton, Illinois; six grandchildren and one great grandson.

Other relatives and many friends also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his aunt & uncle, Delores and Albert Schuenhoff.

Visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2016, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.

Private interment will be at a later date with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
