Wayne Allen Reed, son on the late William T. Reed and Kate Abernathy Reed was born on December 5, 1935 in Gideon, Missouri and departed this life on March 19, 2017 at the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri at the age of 81.

Mr. Reed was a United States Veteran of the Air Force, former electrician at Noranda Industry’s, and a former resident of Malden, Missouri.

Survivors include one son, William “Tommy” Reed of Orlando, Florida; one daughter, Shondra Risinger of Campbell, Missouri; by three sisters, Wanda Wood of Oklahoma, Darlene Montgomery and Connie Jones both of Dexter; also by three grandchildren, Hannah Risinger, Jared Risinger, and Tyler Reed.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Frances Montgomery.

Memorial service will be conducted on Monday April 24, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Clyde Jacques officiating.  

Entombment will follow with full military rites.
