WE WANT TO SUPPORT AND HONOR THOSE WHO SERVED

WHEN:  November 11, 2014. At 5:30pm.

WHERE:  Dexter, Missouri - The Parade begins at Harps grocery store on the corner of Catalpa St. and Stoddard St. and then proceed east on Stoddard St. ending at the Dexter City Hall.

Come join us for a Veterans Day Parade that will be honoring the US Military and Veterans. The parade, sponsored by Kenady-Hanks American Legion Post 59, will step off from the Harps grocery store at 5:30 pm.

Any questions regarding the parade should be directed to Eric Smith. He can be reached at 573-718-2021 after 4:30 pm or via email at commander59@inbox.com.

The mission and goal of our event is to present a successful and entertaining Veterans Day Parade as a holiday gift to the citizens of Dexter, Missouri, Stoddard County, and beyond.

Calling All Participants: There are two ways to get involved in the Parade and show your support.

Sign your organization or group up to march in the Veterans Day Parade! You don't need to be a Veteran or in a Veteran-related organization to march, you just have to be a Military/Veteran supporter. This will be a Military/Veteran themed parade. Our goal is to make this the biggest Veterans Day Parade ever!

Show your support from the side-lines. We're asking the Dexter community to line the streets and cheer on local Veterans. It's a great opportunity for the whole family and a great parade to watch.

"The military has always had a special place in the heart, throughout the country and especially here in Dexter."
